HAPPY BIRTHDAY WANDA JUNE + AN ADVENTURE TO THE OTHERSIDE

Started to read Happy Birthday, Wanda June yesterday and finished it today on the morning bus ride. What an interesting play to read, very entertaining, really reminds me of Vonnegut's Between Time and Timbuktu. I love it when Vonnegut is a playwright, he really knows how to write something very well and deliver it to an audience. Would love to see it live if anyone decides to do it again. Next Vonnegut books that I'm probably going to read are Bluebeard  and Jailbird.

Not to mention my computer is officially dead, confirmed today my an IT person. Currently doing more intensive research on what I want to get but I've got my eye on a certain product that I know will make me happy.

Sammy Boy is an octopus. He lives on the bottom of the sea, in the lovely green fields of weeds. He moves over the bottom, eating fish who he comes across and hiding in shady areas on the ocean floor. On really sunny days he could see the suns rays traveling towards the bottom where he lives so happily. In the sun light you can see that he is a brownish color with a yellow leopard patterned spots with a purplish center.

Than one day, when Sammy Boy was minding his own business, a scuba diver is visiting Sammy's habitat. The scuba divers name is Dave. Dave collects aquatic life for his collection. Today Dave is looking for aquatic life he doesn't have yet. Dave spots Sammy scoping the area for food or shade. Dave takes out a jar from one of the pouches he has with him.

Dave sneaks up on Sammy not to scare him. Sammy sensing movement behind, expels some ink and moves as fast as he can to a near-by "cave". Sammy feels his life is in danger and hides there until it Dave swims away, Sammy sits in the "cave" until night fall, just to be safe. Sammy leaves the "cave", still hungry, finds a unsuspecting fish, captures it with his tentacles and eats it with great joy. What a hearty meal.

Another day in the ocean is a blessing for Sammy, his greatest fear is being caught and either eaten or stuck for life in a cage. Until the next time, Sammy will be living in his watery home in pure happiness.

THE END.
Please leave some feedback, it will be much appreciated.
