LOVELY WEATHER + DROWNING

Sleep deprivation is not good, not good at all, so that is one of the main reasons for posting this a little earlier, so I can get more sleep. I want to be out of "zombie" mode, since it currently seems to be the only way I operate. Even with the help of amazing weather and sugar, nothing will get me out of it, not even watching a super scary/exciting film, I'm more likely to fall asleep during it rather then stay awake. I started to read more Kurt Vonnegut, this time it's Deadeye Dick.

I think I turned in the wrong homework today but I'm not absolutely sure, I'll see how it goes on Thursday. Plus my cut is getting better by the looks of it, however it is still sensitive to touch and certain movements. I had an awkward hand washing incident this morning when I tried to avoid getting my band-aid wet. It was a total and epic fail because it got wet anyways. Unlike the people around me I find the cut fascinating to look at.

You travel a great distance to visit your favorite view. The view is a lake the sparkles whenever the sun rays hit the gentle waves that quiver here and there. You sit on the shore, and enjoy the fresh breeze that comes across the lake towards you, you tilt your head back to get a bit of the breeze on your neck. The scene is just mesmerising, ducks come and go onto the lake, you see someone fishing, another group of people are having a picnic on the other side of the shore. You hear someone yell something from across the lake, what an amazing amplifier the water can be.

You get up on this amazingly bright and warm afternoon to take a stroll around the lake. You walk at a slow pace to enjoy the scenery that you are constantly passing. You wish you didn't forget your camera at home, so you could take pictures of all the things that nature has to offer. You get to the side of the lake where there are a few trees next to the waters edge. You sit down on a fallen tree that is next to the water.

This side of the lake is a bit warmer since the the breeze isn't crossing the lake to get to you. The water is clear and you can see the bottom of the lake with tiny stones and creatures swimming around. There is plant life around this part of the lake that isn't anywhere else, one of which you can't even identify. You stare at the activity from a different point of view, and you wonder why you couldn't see this location before when you sat on the other side of the lake.

You easily identify where you walked from but still are puzzled about why this location can't be seen. All of a sudden you hear a rustle of leaves behind you, you turn only to find two squirrels going at it after a nut or some sort of food. You clam yourself down and stare back at the lake. This time you hear the rustle again, thinking its the squirrels, only to realize when you turn around that it is a big grey scary wolf, snarling and snapping towards you. You get up as fast as you can but you trip over your laces and fall into the lake. The wolf is still coming towards you, and you struggle to get to your feet, you try to scream but nothing seems to leave your voice box. You get deeper and deeper into the lake, thinking that the snaring animal will finally stop, and it does. It stands at the edge of the shore, and turns around and walk away as if the snarling and snapping never happened.

You wonder why this wolf would come up from behind only to not follow you into the water. You stay in the water for a bit to make sure that the wolf has had time to leave. You try to touch the bottom and doggie paddle until you can walk on the bottom of the lake on your tiptoes. You continue walking in the water when all of a sudden the ground beneath you starts to sink, you try to swim upwards, but it is too late, you are sucked in, never to see the surface again. Your eyes see the sky with it's clouds, the top of the water being touched by the wind and then you finally see those little creatures swim above you as if your not there as you sink deeper and deeper into the heart of the lake.

THE END.
